“Poxy McPoxface” WHO asks public for help in renaming virus

GENEVA/LONDON (Reuters): Poxy McPoxface, TRUMP-22 or Mpox – are some of the names submitted to the World Health Organization. Disease names are usually chosen behind closed doors by a technical committee, but the WHO has this time decided to open up the process to the public.
