The “mocktail” has evolved from selections like “virgin strawberry daiquiris” to more sophisticated creations. The trend reflects both the demand for more creative diverse beverages as well as those of overall wellness. Experts have issued a new warning for the rapidly spreading COVID subvariant of Omicron, XBB.1.5 — it is super infectious and rapidly spreading, particularly in the Northeastern United States where it now represents nearly one-third of all cases.
