When searching for bargain red wines, South America is a good place to begin. Chile and Argentina are well-known for producing some great wines at very affordable prices. In an effort to expand my knowledge base (as well as to spend less without sacrificing quality) I widened my geographical scope and discovered Uruguay and its eclectic wine industry.
